Flytxt updates mobile marketing platform

Flytxt, the Trivandrum-based mobile marketing company, has launched the advanced version of its mobile marketing platform Neon. Built for mobile operators, it enables them to launch high volume marketing programmes to generate incremental revenue from existing subscribers.

The new version comes with features such as micro targeting, tracking and contextual offers in real time as well as localised marketing.

Speaking to Telecom Yatra, Vinod Vasudevan, group chief executive officer, Flytxt, said, “Ability to do closed-loop marketing campaigns within minutes is the key outcome of this product. The product is focused on mobile operators and helps them to promote a product, offer the customer rewards, increase revenues and reduce subscriber churn. For this product, we are at present working with Reliance Communications and are in talks with a couple of other operators across the globe. Overall, we are covering a subscriber base of 150 million across all operators in India.”

The closed-loop marketing comprises behavioural analytics, segmentation, campaign execution, ROI (return on investment) tracking, and reward fulfillment and confirmation. The new version also enables centralised inventory management and a method for scaling the marketing processes of different marketing teams, product teams and advertisers.

Vasudevan also said that Flytxt is planning to double its headcount this financial year. It currently has about 100 employees across its offices in Trivandrum, New Delhi, Mumbai, London, Cape Town and Frankfurt.

Flytxt's Neon also enables mobile operators to undertake recharge marketing for encouraging subscribers to increase recharge frequency and amount as well as maintain higher average balances, usage marketing for increasing usage and service revenue, loyalty management for enhancing customer loyalty and reducing churn, and mobile advertising for unlocking new revenue streams by using mobile inventory for third party advertisements.

Neon is deployed by major mobile operators and media companies across Africa, Asia, and Europe.
