Registration is open to all individuals or firms who are associated with, or have a business or academic interest in the telecom industry in India. Our registered users include operators, value added services providers, government and policy makers, technology and support services providers, infrastructure companies, research firm, marketing and advertising agencies and students of professional institutions.

Why do I need to validate my account?
When you sign up with afaqs! Telecom Yatra, an email is sent to you to verify the email account that you signed up with. This email contains a link that will allow your account to be activated. The reason we ask you to validate your account is that we follow an Anti-Spam Policy and want to authenticate your permission to receive newsletters or other information from us.
I am unable to register. Why?
You may receive an error message if the email id or screen name you have entered has already been registered with us. Try using another email id or screen name. If you are still unable to register, write to us at telecomyatra(at)afaqs(dot)com

Check the Junk Folder in your inbox. Also check the inbox of the alternative email id you have provided to us as the validation link is also sent there. When you try to log in without validating your account, the validation link will be sent to you again. In case you still don’t receive it, write to us at telecomyatra(at)afaqs(dot)com
I forgot my password.
Your user name or user ID is your screen name registered with us. To retrieve it, click on the Sign In link on the top right corner of the Telecom Yatra home page, or click on this link: http://telecomyatra.afaqs.com/account/forgotpswd.html. Enter the primary email id registered with us, and your account details will be emailed to you.
How can I edit my account details?
You can edit your account details by clicking on the My Account link on the top right corner of a Telecom Yatra page. You can edit all details except your primary email ID and screen name, as these as linked to your account.

How are the Most Viewed and Most Commented stories chosen?
The news stories that appear in the Most Viewed tab are automatically appear based on the number of page views of stories in the previous seven days. The Most Commented stories are based on the number of comments received on individual news stories.
How can I contribute an article to afaqs! Telecom Yatra?

We upload only those press releases which are relevant to the telecom industry. Also, incomplete press releases and/or those that do not have contact details will not be made live on the site.
How should I submit a campaign on Telecom Yatra?
If you are a registered user on our site, you can submit a campaign by clicking the Upload button in the Campaigns section (http://telecomyatra.afaqs.com/campaign/index.html). For TV ads, you can upload the video in any format up to 10 MB in size. For digital campaigns, you can upload an SWF or FLV file. For Print, you can upload the scanned ad in JPEG format. For OOH, you can upload a photo of the outdoor site in JPEG format. Please note that all submitted campaigns are moderated and may not appear on the site if they are not appropriate or irrelevant to our readers.
